Cisco virgin

Today I bought a new Cisco Catalyst 2950 managed switch. The initial installation was very easy, through the GUI. The switch was ready to use in an hour, and all computers and devices plugged on it now. I am a Cisco virgin, meaning that I have never worked with Cisco equipment earlier nor IOS. I did a few installations on Linksys (Subdivision of Cisco) wireless routers (WRT54GL), which now run a Linux-based firmware called OpenWrt. And I have read up the Quagga manual which is a BGP routing daemon based for Linux, which copies the IOS commands.
