Intended use would be replacing Wi-Fi, therefore reducing <a title=\"Latency\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Latency_(engineering)\" target=\"_blank\">latency<\/a> and <a title=\"Packet loss\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Packet_loss\" target=\"_blank\">packet loss <\/a>and enabling features like <a title=\"VoIP\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Voice_over_IP\" target=\"_blank\">VoIP<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0and\u00c2\u00a0<a title=\"Multicast\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Multicast\" target=\"_blank\">multicast<\/a> for\u00c2\u00a0<a title=\"IPTV\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/IPTV\" target=\"_blank\">IPTV<\/a> streaming. Also it would not spoil the overall look in the apartment running cables under the ceiling to each room. Maximum classification is 500Mbps\/s data transmission with a GigE port. I wonder if it will work at all. (update) There seems to be an issue on the electrical wireing in the apartment, which prevents the adapters to be used.
